Titans trounce Tigers to keep finals hopes alive

The Gold Coast Titans are within one competition point of the top eight after defeating the Wests Tigers 36-6 at Skilled Park in front of 11,731 fans.

The huge loss will not be the only thing troubling the Tigers with their captain Robbie Farah forced off the field minutes before halftime with a dislocated knuckle.

Both sides got on the scoreboard early, with the Titans scoring through Jamie Dowling in the sixth minute before the Tigers scored through Liam Fulton in the ninth minute. Both goal kicks were successful with their first conversion attempts.
