Just a week after the announcement of Celtic Crusaders gaining their Super League licence a further accolade has been obtained by Wales Rugby League in that one of their Match Officials, Darren Scott, has been appointed to Referee the RLEF European Nations Shield game between Germany and the Czech Republic in Karlsruhe this Saturday.

Scott, who has refereed international matches at various levels in Wales and has been fourth official at a number of Crusaders and full international ties in the principality, has also been very busy in setting up the junior game in St Davids and helping out with coaching at Aberystwyth University.
