Vodafone Warriors head coach Daniel Anderson today announced the signing of former Junior Kangaroo, Danny Sullivan.
Danny was one of the best young footballers in Australia in 2001 but unfortunately at that time his career was cut short by injury, said Anderson.
I would describe Danny as an extremely talented footballer and at 6ft 4 and 107kg he is a welcome addition to the Warriors back row.
He played against the Junior Kiwis who at that time contained Lance Hohaia and Iafeta Palea'aesina.
Danny was in my reserve grade grand final team at Parramatta along with PJ Marsh and played SG Ball at the Eels with players such as Pat Richards and Jamie Lyon.
Sullivan is due to arrive in Auckland in June.
Vodafone Warriors chief executive Mick Watson said Sullivan was not contracted to an NRL club at the time the Warriors offer was made.
We contacted NRL salary cap auditor Ian Schubert who confirmed Sullivan did not have a contract with any club after being released by Parramatta, said Watson.
