Friday 17th 8:00pm: Magpies v Tigers @ Campbelltown Stadium 11th placed Magpies are at home to 8th placed Tigers. Both sides have lost their last two games and both recorded wins against modest opposition before that. The Magpies deserve to start favourites as the home side.
Saturday 18th 3:00pm: Jets v Roosters @ Henson Park 2nd placed Jets are at home to 3rd placed Roosters. Neither side has lost since round 11, and with the leading side, Parra, faltering over recent weeks, this is the clash of the form sides of the comp. Again the home side must start slight favourites.
Sunday 19th 12:30pm: Souths v St George-Illawarra @ SCG 13th placed Rabbitohs are at home to 9th placed Dragons. The Rabbitohs have won their last two games, and the Dragons had a narrow loss to powerful Newtown last week and a win before that. The last game between the two sides saw the Dragons win easily but the Rabbitohs seem to be in better form now. Again I go for the home side.
12:45pm: Manly v Newcastle @ Brookvale Oval 7th placed Eagles are at home to 6th placed Knights. The Eagles have lost their last two, while the Knights lost their last game narrowly to top placed Parra and won the game comfortably before that against Wests. The Knights named a powerful side with 10 players with firstgrade experience, but players such as Quigley, Campbell and Mullen are all short odds to be called up to firstgrade due to senior squad injuries. The Knights should still start slight favourites.
1pm: Bulldogs v Raiders @ Sydney Showgrounds 5th placed Bulldogs are at home to 4th placed Raiders. The Bulldogs have a recent loss to lowly placed Souths, while the Raiders come off a bye, but have good form before that. The Raiders should start favourites.
2:30pm: Norths v Cougars @ North Sydney Oval 12th placed Bears are at home to 10th placed Cougars. The cougars had an impressive win over the Tigers last week, while the Bears have not won since round 10. The Cougars will start favourites on form, but Norths have a good chance to record an upset at home.
