EGM Result

Members of the Coal & Allied Newcastle Knights voted in favour of the Tinkler Sports Group proposed privatisation of the club at the Extraordinary General Meeting on Thursday 31 March 2011.

While 75 per cent of votes were required for the proposal to be successful, an overwhelming 97 per cent of eligible members who voted did so in favour of the Tinkler Sports Group.

Chairman Rob Tew made the announcement at around 8.30pm to an audience including members and media.
