The match that last year saw 17,000 fans brave torrential rain will once again be a key selection guide for this year's Harvey Norman State of Origin series.
"The selectors will be looking to this game to answer a lot of issues," ARL and NSWRL Chief Executive, Mr Geoff Carr, said today.
"The high injury toll amongst established rep stars last year introduced us to a whole new generation of players who proved they are more than capable at this elite level.
"They are now vying against some of the more established players who simply want their representative jumpers back.
"And with the Australia v New Zealand Test players unavailable in this match it will be a chance for everyone to show their skills.
"This game will be particularly important in sorting out who deserves a run when State of Origin comes around."
Following on from the outstanding success of last year's 'That's My Team' State of Origin promotion that took the NSW Wizard Blues to Forster, both City and Country will be heading bush in the lead-up to their clash.
Both teams will host open training sessions, visit schools and attend fund raising dinners during their stay.
