Powerful outside back Daniel Vidot is arriving from the St George Illawarra Dragons and has also signed a two-year deal with the Broncos.
Young centre Stewart Mills has signed a one-year deal with the Broncos from the Cronulla Sharks.
Both Lowrie and Mills will join pre-season training at Red Hill from Wednesday 6 November while Vidot will commence in January 2014, as he currently has international touring commitments with Samoa for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
“They all add some depth to our playing roster – Todd in particular has got a lot of experience, including being part of a Grand Final winning team with the Melbourne Storm, and he’s been around for a lot of years,” Griffin said.
“He’s played 184 games so he’s got a wealth of experience and he’ll really add to the strength of our pack.
“Daniel Vidot is someone who I think has still got his best football in front of him, and he was part of the Queensland Emerging Origin squad a couple of seasons ago.
“He can cover a lot of positions – centre, wing and back-row, and he’s 108 kilos so he’s a big boy and still only 23 years old.
“It’s the same with Stewart Mills. He’s already played 16 first-grade games for the Sharks, he was an elite Under 20s player for them that played first-grade at the age of 19, and was in the NSW Cup Team of the Year this year.
“Again he covers a lot of positions from centre, wing to fullback and will add to the depth of our outside backs.
“We’ve really looked to build quality depth within our squad and reinforce our outside backs.”
