BARLA head to Flyde for double header

All roads lead to the Woodlands Memorial Ground the home of Fylde RUFC on Saturday 24th May for the blue riband BARLA double header cup finals and a feast of amateur rugby league of the highest standards.

They begin at 1.30pm when the Bartlett Champion of Champions Final takes place between HALBRO Lancashire County Cup Winners 2007 Bank Quay Bulls and Ellenborough Rangers. The winners of this game will see a new name on the trophy.

They conclude with the Ace Insurance (Europe) BARLA National Cup Final kick off 3.15pm when Wath Brow Hornets play East Hull. Should East Hull win there will be a new name on the trophy and previous winners Wath Brow Hornets are appearing in their third final in five years having won their last two.

Amongst the guests who will be attending a pre match dinner before enjoying the fayre on offer are Spen Allison BARLA Chair, Ex RFU President Malcolm Phillips, Ian Edwards a Director of the RFL and Ikram Butt Managing Director of the British Asian Rugby Association (BARA).
