SKYCITY and Warriors continue long partnership

SKYCITY Auckland and the Vodafone Warriors have extended their partnership for another two years meaning, at 17 years, it will be among the longest-running major sporting sponsorships in New Zealand.

SKYCITY CEO Nigel Morrison said SKYCITY was delighted to continue its long-term support of the Vodafone Warriors.

"SKYCITY places great value on its partnership with the Vodafone Warriors," he said.

"Having been with the club for the past 15 seasons, we've developed a fantastic relationship on so many levels. We look forward to the boys hitting their full potential over the next couple of years.

"The Vodafone Warriors are innovative and engaging in their dealings with members and fans and we're excited about continuing to support these initiatives through exclusive experiences at SKYCITY; including hosting ‘Meet the Team' functions and other exciting events."

Vodafone Warriors managing director Jim Doyle said the club has plans to further enhance its association with SKYCITY.

"SKYCITY has been and will continue to be a fantastic major sponsor of the club, showing a tremendous level of commitment to the partnership," he said.

"We're grateful for its continued support of our membership programme with initiatives such as the SKYCITY Member of the Week, which promotes our drive to grow our membership base and support the club's long-term vision."

SKYCITY will continue to have its name featuring prominently on the lower back of the club's NRL jersey while SKYCITY will also be the venue for all major Vodafone Warriors events such as the annual awards event which was again held in the SKYCITY Convention Centre recently.

In addition, SKYCITY will have naming rights to the club's membership programme as well as the SKYCITY Member of the Week initiative which will once more see exclusive member-only rewards and events delivered across SKYCITY's wide array of venues.

The next major SKYCITY event the Vodafone Warriors will be supporting is the annual Kidz First Christmas Party at the SKYCITY Convention Centre on Saturday, November 28.

Kidz First Children's Hospital is a major charity partner of both the SKYCITY and the Vodafone Warriors.
