Evening footy fans and welcome to AAMI Park in Melbourne for tonight's Grand Final rematch between the Storm and 'Dogs. Showers have drifted across the city throughout the day but appear to have cleared. Contrary to earlier reports suggesting Ben Barba may make an early comeback, both sides are 1-17.
Melbourne will kick off and defend the southern end of AAMI Park in the first half with kick-off scheduled for a little after 8pm.
1st min. We're underway at AAMI Park. The Dogs will have first use of the ball.
2nd min - PENALTY Bulldogs.
5th min - Cronk chips for Fonua on the wing but he can't hang onto the ball and comes up with the error.
13th min - Smith picks up the ball after Reynolds knocks on. Double knock-on. Melbourne scrum.
14 min: Cronk again kicks towards Fonua who knocks the ball back into the arms of Sa'u who can't pick up the ball and dive over.
15 min: Eastwood busts through the Melbourne defence and draws Slater before passing to Reynolds who knocks on. Melbourne scrum.
17 min: Cronk goes to the air and Low allows the bomb to bounce but luckily for him Reynolds was there to save the day just in front of Widdop.
18 min: Duffie loses the ball in a great tackle but the Bulldogs tried to move the ball quickly to their right before they lose the ball and Slater comes up in possession.
20 min: Reynolds kicks towards the corner and Duffie ensures he takes the catch with his foot in the in-goal. Storm restart.
21 min: PENALTY Storm. Ennis ruled to have hung around Slater too long after he'd been tackled.

Cronk engineers the first Storm try of the night with a beautiful double-pump pass which sends the lock-forward over under the posts. Smith adds the extras from in front.

24 min: Smith attempts a 40/20 out of dummy half but Low knocks the ball back in field and the Dogs will work the ball off their own line.
27 min: The Storm run the ball on the last tackle and Hoffman kicks the ball dead. Bulldogs 20m restart.
28 min: The Bulldogs receive six again after showing some razzle dazzle.
29 min: Keating kicks into the in-goal and Slater waits as long as possible before batting it dead. Storm dropout.
31 min: Some quality goal-line defence from the Storm repels the Bulldogs after Keating's last tackle option was poor which saw Widdop claim the cross-field chip.
32 min: Inu is ruled to have lost the ball trying to get up and play the ball quickly. Storm scrum.
33 min: Some good goal-line defence from the Bulldogs holds the Storm out and they work the ball up past the 30m line.
35 min: Chambers kicks down the short side and puts Low under immense pressure. He comes up with the knock-on before Duffie picks up the ball before eventually knocking on. Storm scrum 10m from Bulldogs line.

36 min: TRY MELBOURNE STORM

Fonua scores the try after the Storm moved the ball quickly to the left hand side, with Slater getting involved before Widdop delivered the last pass. Fonua did the rest, keeping his feet in the air while getting the ball down in the corner. Smith hits the upright from the sideline.

38 min: Inu kicks the ball over the deadball line on the full. The Storm will go on the attack again in the shadows of halftime.
39 min: Cronk's chipkick on the last is knocked on by Inu. Six more tackles for the Storm.
40 min: Slater throws a beautiful cutout pass off the back of the scrum but Fonua knocks on after over running the ball.
40 min: Halftime at AAMI Park and the Storm hold a 10-0 lead over the Bulldogs.
41 min: Second half action is underway through Krisnan Inu.
42 min: Slater is placed on report after being ruled to have kicked Klemmer in the face taking a bomb.

48 min: Keating has his kick charged down by Griffin and the 'Dogs get six more.
49 min: Keating's kick on the last tackle goes dead. Storm restart.
50 min: PENALTY Storm. The home side run the ball down the right side on the last tackle and Harris kicks for Chambers who is tackled without the ball.
51 min: Sa'u charges onto a Widdop pass and tries to extend his arm out to place the ball on the line but knocks it on. Bulldogs scrum.
53 min: Cronk attempts a 40/20 but the ball rolls into touch 21m from the Bulldogs line.
54 min: PENALTY Bulldogs. Morris is tackled into touch after the tackle was completed.
55 min: Low stab kicks for Brown but Slater just wins the race to the ball and bats it dead. Storm dropout.
56 min: Reynolds kicks for the in-goal but the ball just goes dead. Storm defence holds and they get a 20m restart.
58 min: Cronk kicks towards Fonua and Brown bats it dead. Bulldogs dropout.

Setu adds his name to the tryscorers list tonight after Smith set him up. Prop Jessie Bromwich put his side into the field position with a fabulous offload which saw Slater burn 60m upfield. From the ensuing tackle the Bulldogs defence was always retreating. Smith again adds the extras.
